Fundraising and Development Director
The Board Member who serves as the Director of Fundraising and Development will be primarily responsible for achieving annual fundraising goals as developed in collaboration with, and approved by, the Board of Directors.
​
Responsibilities:
-
Formulate and execute the strategic and actionable step by step plans to secure annual commitments and multi-year strategic partnerships to meet the organization’s revenue requirements.

Solidify, expand, and diversify donor base and network of supporters to secure ongoing funding from corporate, foundation and individual donors through direct solicitation, grant requests, and other vehicles as appropriate.

Co-develop communications that support the goals of existing fundraisers with programming and communications staff.

Design and execute fundraising campaigns (through online programs, in person events, annual appeals, giving Tuesday, and/or other creative strategies).

Oversee and manage stewardship activities with donors; meet all compliance requirements (grant, partnership, etc.) through timely, accurate and regular reporting (both narrative and financial).

Talent Acquisition Director​
The Talent Acquisition director facilitates a diverse, positive, supportive, and welcoming volunteer environment. This board member will attend and provide reports at monthly board meetings. This board member must be self-motivated, collaborative, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professional integrity.

Role:

Creatively sourcing applicants
-
Identify, recruit, and interview candidates for all open roles, including:board positions, program staff positions, and program instructors.

Assist in the creation and updating of onboarding materials for on-site staff
-
Participate in the orientation process for new board members and staff members
-
Create and implement exit interviews for board members, staff, interns, and volunteers
