7/28 - Summit Spotlight

Hi BITSS Family!

We woke up and got ready to venture out for our first off-campus activities. We traveled to the Boston Tea Party Museum. The tour was immersive and our participants asked lots of thoughtful questions!

We got to go to a local cafe, Pressed Cafe, for lunch before heading to a popular local spot, Lawn on D. They have swings and lawn games everyone was able to enjoy! We had a lot of fun being outside and exploring the city for the first, but not last time this week!

We went back to campus and enjoyed some downtime before starting our night with a financial literacy or Time Management workshop. There were more good questions in these sessions and we were excited to see a lot of interest in the topics.

The day ended with a competitive Trivia Game our amazing Programming Committee coordinated. It was then time for Meds and Beds to be ready for another exciting day. We have a tradition of doing shoutouts where participants are able to at the end of the day share appreciation and support for positive things they see others doing. This time of the week, it is always special to see how much the connections are already growing!

Look forward to telling you all about our day tomorrow,

Your BITSS Team
