8/1 - Summit Spotlight

Hi BITSS Family!


We are sad this is our recap of the last full day together! The week flew by and we have loved every minute of it.


The day started with breakfast before our panel of doctors came and shared some of their wisdom with the group. They are then able to in smaller groups ask questions to each panelist and learn from both the doctors and each other! It is always a great way for their curiosities to be expressed and self-advocacy in medical matters to be highlighted.


Then it was time for lunch and our last set of rotations. This time it was self-defense, art media and arts and crafts. It was great to have such variety and fun in our rotations this year and this day was no different. They all enjoyed it before some packing time to be ready for the sad reality of leaving the next day. 


It was then our dance party to dance the last night away with each other before meds and beds.
