7/30 - Summit Spotlight

Good Morning BITSS Families!

The day started with breakfast and a slower start to enjoy a day on campus after lots of excitement and exploration. The participants were able to enjoy some line dancing to start the day and then had a workshop around how brains can function and work differently. It was another chance we were able to see just how thoughtful and bright these participants are!

After lunch, it was time for rotations and this time it consisted of Pilates, Songwriting and Drumming. They all really jumped in and had the fuel from lunch to power their creative juices for songwriting. The drumming was a success and we brought the energy for the whole building to be able to enjoy the music. Pilates was a nice workout and calm activity to add to the mix!

There was then time for them to enjoy some downtime and we prepared to end the day with dinner and an improv group coming in to lead them in some exercises for our theatre night. It was a treat for all and we will be laughing the rest of the week!

It was then time for bed. More updates to come!
